The Heath Chorus
About Us
The Heath Chorus
Uttoxeter is a small market town in Staffordshire.
Home to JCB, Elkes Biscuits, the Midlands Grand National and
The Heath Chorus, an all female choir of 'girls' aged from 18 to 80.
In demand locally, and well known for their 'pick and mix' repertoire, their informal style and obvious love of what they do has charmed audiences and confirmed their reputation for delivering performances full of fun and packed with songs from a breath-taking variety of genres.
The choir has, since its creation in 2004, accepted all-comers and is
proud of its non-selective approach.
The chorus embraces the challenge of mixing voices of all shapes and sizes, from vocal virgins to musical matriarchs, to create a stylish, fresh and honest sound.
Chorus girls are not singers or musicians they are people, and their tragedies, triumphs, love and laughter create every note.
